Available in pre-version, the Linux version of Teams still needs adjustments. Microsoft asks its users for their feedback. This first app 365 on Linux desktop could be followed by other announcements.
25 million active users on Teams in November and december
The publisher says it has worked with its customers to improve their collaboration scenarios from the Teams for Linux client. Among these, Volvo Cars says it appreciates that its Linux users can now collaborate around screen sharing while they were previously isolated or using different unofficial or unsupported Skype for Business client software.
Between July and November 2019, Microsoft grew from 13 million to more than 20 million active daily users on Teams
